A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their uni lecturer. The casual conversation soon turned into one with endless complaints abt stress at work and life in general. Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups consisting of porcelain, plastic, glass, plain-lookin ones and expensive and exquisite ones. He told them to help themselves to the coffee.

While it is normal for u to want only the best for yourselves, unknowingly, that is the source of ur problems and stress. What all of u really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and were eyeing on each other's cups. Now, let's say if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and societal status are the cups, they are juz tools to hold and contain life, but the quality of life remains unchanged. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it.''

These couples were good Christians, they were so dedicated to God theyacquired a lot of properties like lands, house properties, etc.

As their legal adviser, before their death, the husband Mr. MorrisThompson instructed me to write his WILL. Because they had onedaughter who also died with them. some of their properties in London(England)have to be sold and the money be given out to a ministry forthe work of God. As their legal adviser,the documents for the properties were in my care. He gave me the authority to sell the properties and give out the fund to the Ministries for the work ofGod.

I sold these properties after their death, And as matter of fact,after I sold these properties, I realized more than 20,000,000.00Million British Pounds plus), and what supposed to be the percentage interest of my right legal fee was firstly deducted by me out of thetotal amount realized from the sold properties, this was base on the initial agreement between me and the owner of the properties before his death. I had encounter with Christ when Pastor Benny Hinn was preaching on television concerning Ananias and Saphira in Acts 5:1-11. After hearing the word of God, I gave my life to Christ and became a born again Christian. As a born again Christian, I started reading my bible and one day, the Lord opened my eyes to Ezekiel 33: 18 and 19. From the scripture, I discovered that the only way I could have peace in my life is to do what is lawful and right by giving out the fund as instructed for the work of God by the owner before his death.

I have asked God for forgiveness and I know that God have forgiven me. But I have to do what is lawful and right in the sight of God by giving out the fund to the chosen ministry or charitable organisation for the purpose of God's work as instructed by the owner before his death.

A New Christmas Tradition

One particular Christmas a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip... but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones, so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule. Then, Mrs. Claus told him that her Mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more.

Then when he went to harness the Reindeer, he found three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground, and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went back into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey.

When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had hid the liquor and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the coffee pot and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from.

Just then, the doorbell rang and Santa cussed his way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas Tree. The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa. Isn't it just a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you, Isn't it just a lovely tree? Where would you like me to stick it?"

Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas Tree.

cast all your anxiety onto HIM, for He cares for u=))

Me : I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something...

God : What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

Me : Don't know. But I can't find free time. Life has become hectic. It's rush hour all the time.

God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time.
Productivity frees it.

Me : I understand. But I still can't figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

God : Well, I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.

Me : Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

Me : Why are we then constantly unhappy?

God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not happy.

Me : But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

Me : But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty ...

God : Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

Me : If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their life become better not bitter.

Me : You mean to say such experience is useful?

God : Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me : But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can't we be free from problems?

God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons to Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems.

Me : Frankly, in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading.

God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me : Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?

God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me : In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me : What surprises you about people?

God : When they suffer they ask, "Why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me". Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.

Me : Sometimes I ask, Who am I, Why am I here. I can't get the answer.

God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

Me : How can I get the best out of life?

God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Me : One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

today while on the way to work..i suddenly remembered about paul's recommendation..so i jus switch the fm to 102.3..and its really good..
at the start of the day get to hear God's word with you..
but sometimes i listen until very carefully..den may lose concentration on the road..lol..

well anyway its the weekends again.. =)

hey... i am not sure if any of you guys knew this... well.. last week on my way to school, usually i will be listening to my mp3 player as usual (remembered some random grasshopper girl keep cursing my mp3 player to rot in korea...) But beccause i did not change songs for like a month... i got kind of bored with those songs, so i switched to FM.

By right i will listening to 88.3fm, as thats my favorite radio channel. But maybe its God's plan for me to accidently tuned into 102.3fm... and why did i stopped tuning when i hit 102.3fm? becauses the first few words i heard was.. "Jesus Christ said...." oh well... i did not know Singapore actually allows Gospel to be broadcast~ which is pretty great!

alright... so lately i have been listening to 102.3fm on my way to school~ but do note, 102.3fm only talks about the bible from 8-10am i suppose... (i usually listens from 8-9am)

so... for those of you who travels to work and school around this time, and you have a radio device with you~ do tune in to 102.3fm and listen to God's word!

Wouldnt it be nice to have God's word for breakfast? =)
